AC Power Triac Dimmer Switch BTA41-600B 40A General Purpose BTA Series
BTA/BTB41-600B 40A TRIACS
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Available either in through-hole or surface-mount packages, the BTA/BTB41 - 600B triac series is suitable for general purpose AC switching. They can be used as an ON/OFF function in applications such as static relays, heating regulation, induction motor starting circuits... or for phase control operation in light dimmers, motor speed controllers, ... The snubberless versions (BTA/BTB...W series) are specially recommended for use on inductive loads, thanks to their high commutation performances. By using an internal ceramic pad, the BTA series provides voltage insulated tab (rated at 2500V RMS) complying with UL standards.
Available in high power packages, the BTA/ BTB40-41 series is suitable for general purpose AC power switching. They can be used as an ON/ OFF function in applications such as static relays, heating regulation, water heaters, induction motor starting circuits, welding equipment... or for phase control operation in high power motor speed controllers, soft start circuits... Thanks to their clip assembly technique, they provide a superior performance in surge current handling capabilities. By using an internal ceramic pad, the BTA series provides voltage insulated tab (rated at 2500 V RMS) complying with UL standards (File ref.: E81734).
